JP Wedding Photography

Semi and Steven just got married at Woodloch a great little spot in the Poconos. I had been looking forward to this one ever since they described the area to me when we first met. We had an awesome engagement session a couple months back around their house at Cobble Hill, so I was really looking forward to this one.

I met up with Semi while she was getting ready.

They did two ceremonies! After the first one they got dressed up for a traditional South Korean ceremony.

They had some of the pictures from our engagement session out during the reception.

They had this cool little tree for their guests to write notes to them.

I just found out that Laura, one of my awesome brides from last year just blogged about the wedding over at her site at Wren Handmade. She and Ben had an amazing wedding in Prospect Park last year, and I’ve had the pictures all buttoned up on my hard drive until they published the story in Martha Stewart weddings. I’m excited to share some more pictures here on the blog, but here’s a few quick picks of my favorites.

Sarah and Mike just got married at the Astra. It was a great little ceremony up at Conservatory Garden, and then they jumped on a double decker bus to bring everyone to the reception, which I thought was a great idea. The reception was at the Astra. The forecast was calling for rain all week, so we were really excited when it turned out to be a gorgeous day. Here are a few of my favorite snaps from the evening.

Laura Nadeau did makeup, and rocked it as usual.

Tara of EAP was the day of coordinator, and made everything run super smooth. Here she gives a quick hand with Sarah’s dress.

Mike and Sarah see each other for the first time in the hotel lobby.

We took a walk through central park before the ceremony.

We snapped some pictures on the same bench where Mike proposed to Sarah.

Then we headed over to Conservatory Garden for the ceremony.

Sarah and Mike took charge of the tour guide duties for a bit, and shared a bit of their history in the city with everyone.

After the ride we headed over to Astra.
