Veronica and Michael just got married at the Queens County Farm. They met while in art school, so as you can imagine, they’re really creative and put a lot of their personality into the wedding. Before the wedding, they told me that they really loved black and white images, so I ended up shooting more monochrome images than usual.
When I arrived at Veronica’s house, they had just blown a fuse! They continued with the preparations in her kitchen…

Michael had some sweet cufflinks.

Veronica’s friend is a designer, and made her dress by hand! She was putting on the finishing touches while Veronica was getting ready.

They designed a board for the place settings, and had it by the door ready to go.

They had arranged to arrive at the farm in style.

Their guests were patiently waiting when they rolled up in the car.

Right after the ceremony, they had this moment alone in the corn field.

I caught Veronica peeking in the window before they were anounced at the reception

They designed all the details around the reception, and they were great. I loved the color palette that they used.

They even incorporated themselves into the decorations, with cookies and a cake topper that was a rendition of themselves.

They have a really fun group of friends, and I loved photographing all the different personalities.

As the night continued, the party turned more rock and roll.

By the end of the night, there was a real party atmosphere in the air, so I made some images that I hoped would feel like they were from a punk rock show.
