Richard Todd

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

As many of you know, I love shooting weddings, but it’s not the only thing that I photograph. From the not-a-wedding category, I wanted to share a few portraits that I shot of Richard Todd today. He’s an amazing painter, and was preparing submissions for the Studio Museum Harlem and the Whitney when I got to his place. We’re celebrating the Canadian Thanksgiving at my loft this weekend (got to warm up for the American one!), and I invited Todd and his kids, so hopefully I’ll be seeing more of him.

  • About

To put it simply, I believe that the day of a wedding is full of great emotion and energy, and my aim is to capture it. I pride myself on my ability to blend in and capture images that tell the story of your day in a unique yet timeless way. I'm based in New York City, and while many of the weddings that I shoot are nearby, I frequently shoot weddings across the US and around the world.
