Erica and Collin. Webb Barn.
Friday, October 9th, 2009Here are some favorites from Erica and Collin’s wedding. Collin is Scott’s brother, of Scott and Sonya last year. They threw an amazing wedding, complete with their entire family rocking out (really, playing as a rock band) for their guests. I knew that they were going to play at Collin’s wedding as well, so I’ve been super excited for it.
Planning the photography for the wedding was a lot of fun. Erica and Collin have a really special aesthetic, and we bounced ideas back and forth leading up to the wedding for non-typical ways to cover the day. I love it when my wedding clients want to be involved this way!
So one of the ideas is that we would start at the hotel and shoot some pictures on a backdrop of the wedding party and family members.
Tanveer joined to help with the lighting and shooting, and did a killer job.

Then we headed right over to Webb Barn, where they were serving hot cider as the guests arrived.

Awesome signs in the barn.

Collin and Erica make their exit.

Erica and I had bounced some ideas back in forth in terms of shooting some special group pictures with a different aesthetic. She send me a bunch of pictures for inspiration, so these shots ended up being a total collaboration.

They had imprints of their fingerprints made on the wedding rings. And that’s a mix CD they had for all their guests.
And then it was time for the family band to rock out.
That’s Scott and Collin’s dad playing the orange guitar.

They had friends bring all the different cupcakes for desert.
A celebratory cigar.
