Michael and Dorit’s wedding at Battery Gardens. These guys put together a wedding that was a real celebration. We started the day cruising around downtown and Chinatown, and then off to Battery Gardens for the ceremony. Dorit’s father officiated the ceremony, which added a really lovely intimate aspect. Afterwards their guests proves that know how to have a party. They finished things up in the afternoon with a Mister Softee truck outside serving ice cream to all the guests, and then we headed on over to the Ritz Carlton for a super rad after party.

Tom did a great job snapping pictures earlier in the day, and then manning the photobooth for the rest of the party.

I had a great time shooting Neil and Brooke’s wedding recently. These weeks mark the start of the busy season, and I’m really having fun getting back to shooting weddings for the year.

Neil and Brooke got married at Battery Gardens on March 30th. I started out with the girls and Brooke’s family, getting ready at the Ritz-Carlton in Battery Park

Christine+ Jreh just got married at Battery Gardens. I met up with the girls getting ready at the Battery Park City Ritz Carlton.

Upstairs, Laura Nadeau (a great makeup artist who I’ve worked with before) was doing the makeup.

Stacy Pitt did everyone’s hair, and did an excellent job of it.

We had originally planned on driving over to Fulton Ferry landing for some more candid looking pictures with Jreh and Christine. But since things were running behind, we decided to just stroll outside the hotel and see what we could do. Fortunately, there were lots of great spots on the water just a block away.
