Priscilla and Teddy were originally planning on getting married at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Their plans later changed, but they had already confirmed things to be at the gardens, so we got up bright and early and snapped some photos with them there.

And then the pre-party got started! They rocked some Yugoslavian music and drank some moonshine before the wedding.

Then it was of to the First Unitarian Congregational Society for the wedding.

We went to Frankie’s for the reception. I’ve run into these guys as caterers at other weddings, and they really rock it, especially with their gigantic meatballs.

It was awesome to shoot at the actual restaurant. It has a cool outdoor Brooklyn vibe to it.

I headed upstate again for Nathan and Miriam’s wedding over the 4th of July. While we were working out the plans for the weekend, I knew these guys were going to be a blast when Miriam suggested I bring my swim trunks along.

I met up with them the day before the wedding while they were doing a quick rehearsal. The wedding was at Miriam’s parents house.

Nice summer day for a dip in their pool.

Then we went over to the hotel in town where they gathered with a small group of friends and family to sign the ketubah.

Then outside for some barbecuing.

Classic 4th of July grill out. I want to know where you can get this tap/cooler setup with the american eagle.

Everyone wore nametags to get to know each other better.

Miriam’s friends threw down some Spice Girls dance moves as a throwback to their childhood.

The next day and back to the house to set things up for the wedding. Miriam’s parents are architects, and planted those trees when they bought the house over 20 years ago. Nice foresight!

It was the 4th of July. So they had their own fireworks show!

My favorites from Erin and Roman’s wedding. I had a blast with these guys, working out how to tie a bowtie with Roman (I swear one of these days I’m going to have to figure out how to do that myself), cruising around SoHo, and then back to OmniBerkshire Place for the wedding.

So a little back story here. Last year, I shot Laura and Steve’s wedding at Bubby’s, and I blogged about their awesome first dance. Erin gets the credit for teaching them the whole thing. She’s runs a company called Start Dancing NYC , and they found her when they were looking to learn something special for their first dance together.

So naturally, Erin and Roman had to have a super cool entrance and first dance.

They both nailed it. Roman seemed pretty stoked.

They had this cool plate which they invited their guests to inscribe a little message on.
